Was born and raised in Dorchester, Ma. He first started drawing at around the age of 7 years old. It started because one day he asked his older brother who was a good artist at the time to draw him a picture. He refused and told him that he needed to try to draw it for himself, so he did. Hakeem would practice all the time till he got good enough to draw as good as him, Years later he was drawing even better then his brother. When he became a older teen he ended up in trouble, so at 17 years old he was sent to jail. When he was incarcerated he was one of the top artist in that prison. While he was there he would trade artwork to his fellow inmates and sometimes even the guards for money, food or canteen products. He would draw on paper, cardboard and even wood plaques, using pens, marker and magazines pictures for the ink by rolling up tissue and water as a paint brush. When he was released he started going to art shows and Galleries, then started teaching himself how to use different mediums besides pens and pencils. He started working with acrylic, watercolors, airbrush and all other mediums and surfaces.
His Art work range from comic book drawing to abstract, self portraits and etc., using acrylic, oils, and watercolors.
